Compliment Letter

It was a real privilege to be acknowledged for the hard work put in by the team.  We thank resident for penning it down to us, as over the many years served, complaints far outweigh compliments, but this one is surely the shortest but sharpest compliment to us.

Dangerous Drain Cover ....

This broken drain cover was discovered next to a crowded pathway, next to Block 787 Car Park, but many just walked past, saw it and say it was dangerous .... one took the initiative to have it covered and subsequently inform Town Council.

From evidence, it seems that a vehicle went over it and it cracked - but was thankful for a resident, after making sure that no one is able to fall into the hole, recalled I was having my meal at the coffeeshop, informed me and I subsequently called Town Council to have it properly barricaded and covered.

The cover was replaced within 24 hours.  Thanks to a resident who cares enough to make the effort to have it addressed.

New BFA Ramp between Block 791 and MSCP

Many residents was wondering why the BFA (Barrier Free Access) needs to be built on a "ulu" corner where it seems to be inconvenient for the ramp to be used.

The location of the BFA needs to be there due to the space required to make the winding descend, safe for those in wheelchairs !

Sometimes certain things are good to have but we may not have the luxury of space for it !!

A small exposed flame DESTROYS !!

Can you believe it ? At Block 766, sometime in July at around 4pm, when i walked past this bin, it was all in order and at 5pm, when i returned home from an errand, the bin was damaged to this state.

Heard the destruction was caused by a butt ....

All Systems Go ...

The "New Eyes" are finally operational and it does wonders .... the places where illegal parking was rampant starts to see effectiveness.

Anyone wants to be the 1st to try the system and risk a $400 fine ?

Safety Concern

We would like to thank a resident for highlighting a certain area, which is of safety concern.  Can you see the resident 'head" peering out of the plant ?  Our RC have informed Town Council and they will be removing the plant soon.

Thanks for making a difference in the community called "Home"

"New Eyes" to see illegal parking ....

There are "new eyes" to monitor illegal parking at service roads, around the 787B coffeeshop.  We would encourage all drivers to park at 787A Multi-Storey Car Park to avoid paying for an expensive coffeeshop meal.

Please remember to display parking coupons and NOT park at RED LOTS, reserved for season parking holders.

Spread the word around !!

Kinect Aerobics - 2 months later ...

After 6 weeks, the number of people coming is certainly catching on, despite having little or no publicity.  It is really good to see multi-racial participation and should there be an overflow of people participating, we may have to go into 2 sessions ....

Well, it is a good problem !

Revamp of RC Centres

In view of the latest news on this topic, our RC has already set the infrastructure for since 2002.  If you do not know, what was it that our RC does, differently from other RCs till today ?

Click Here - News Article From Straits Times

It was reported at last paragraph as follows :

The RC centres at void decks will also be transformed into "club houses" for residents, who can use the space to hold their private functions such as birthday parties and family gatherings. These centres will also extend their opening hours for more residents to benefit from the facilities. Each centre will hire a manager to run it, unlike the current practice of staffing it with volunteers.

We are pleased to offer, since 2002 as follows :

Space to hold private functions

Our Resident Corner, next to RC Centre, has been a space for residents to use (with permission).  Our RC supports them by providing additional 30 chairs and 5 tables at no cost.

Extend Opening Hours for residents to benefit

The venue of resident corner is not in locked premise, as such there is no necessity to worry about time of use, unless we are referring to wee hours and early mornings.

Hire A Manager

We have a 24 hour hotline (which if no one answers, it will go to voice mail, or we will return missed calls), email queries responded within 24 hours and also updated blogsites to reach us .... all done by dedicated volunteers that helps build ownership and sense of belonging for the volunteers.
