Irresponsible Contractors

At Block 785, we are thankful to receive a HOTLINE call from resident at about 8.30pm, stating that the void deck has debris that makes it a fire hazard.  Upon closer look after responding to the call, we saw a big huge pile of debris that is left behind by a contractor, most likely to be doing major renovations in the home.

As part of Town Council practice, the Town Council will look for the contractor during the next working day and advise them to remove it correctly.  Resident was upset as it cannot be removed immediately.  We explained that it is not proper to activate workers to clear as it would mean denying time to rest.  There is also no place to store such debris.

We would like all home owners to advise their contractors as we do not want to have you implicated should accident or hazards occur.

Tales of 2 People - Headache lah

On 17 Nov, at Block 769, somewhere around 10.30pm, we have a police case where it was between a chicken and a duck.  Best of all, both have different versions of what actually happened.

It ended up one party wanna sue the other, but as the matters are under investigation, we would have to advice all parties to have a stand-off.  Who is right and who is wrong ? No one knows ....

What is our position ? One thing for sure, we will not take sides as none of us saw what happened !

There was a witness that tried to intervene mid-way of whatever transpired.  We will go house to house to look for this person, whom with vague information, it was a lady. In the end, this matter is out of our hands already

We are hoping for reconciliation between the chicken and duck

Vandals at work or Childish prank

At Block 766, someone is frequently putting tissues, rolled up like in the picture, in the ash tray section.  The bin has been replaced once, as it caught fire previously and umpteen times lots of smoke was churned out and residents cum passer by have to put out the fire and smoke.

We hope to catch this inconsiderate or childish person.  Let us keep the place we reside a safer place for everyone.

Oil Spill - Town Council Response

On 15 Oct @ 7.20pm, a public holiday, a resident called RC hotline to feedback that someone had spilled oil at Block 786 lift lobby and it is a hazard to residents walking through this busy corridor.  Immediately, a RC member went to assess the situation and called Town Council supervisor for assistance - he was out of the area but with his responsibility, he called cleaners from other areas to come assist.

After 20 minutes, they came and got the job done.  Kudos to the workers for their speedy response, despite being a public holiday and I would consider that they have gone the extra mile - GEMS

Compliment Letter

It was a real privilege to be acknowledged for the hard work put in by the team.  We thank resident for penning it down to us, as over the many years served, complaints far outweigh compliments, but this one is surely the shortest but sharpest compliment to us.

Dangerous Drain Cover ....

This broken drain cover was discovered next to a crowded pathway, next to Block 787 Car Park, but many just walked past, saw it and say it was dangerous .... one took the initiative to have it covered and subsequently inform Town Council.

From evidence, it seems that a vehicle went over it and it cracked - but was thankful for a resident, after making sure that no one is able to fall into the hole, recalled I was having my meal at the coffeeshop, informed me and I subsequently called Town Council to have it properly barricaded and covered.

The cover was replaced within 24 hours.  Thanks to a resident who cares enough to make the effort to have it addressed.

New BFA Ramp between Block 791 and MSCP

Many residents was wondering why the BFA (Barrier Free Access) needs to be built on a "ulu" corner where it seems to be inconvenient for the ramp to be used.

The location of the BFA needs to be there due to the space required to make the winding descend, safe for those in wheelchairs !

Sometimes certain things are good to have but we may not have the luxury of space for it !!

A small exposed flame DESTROYS !!

Can you believe it ? At Block 766, sometime in July at around 4pm, when i walked past this bin, it was all in order and at 5pm, when i returned home from an errand, the bin was damaged to this state.

Heard the destruction was caused by a butt ....

All Systems Go ...

The "New Eyes" are finally operational and it does wonders .... the places where illegal parking was rampant starts to see effectiveness.

Anyone wants to be the 1st to try the system and risk a $400 fine ?

Now You See It, Now You Don't

Thanks Town Council for expediting the removal of plant.
